The Agent Mediated Insurance (AMI) Standards are published so that they can be read, quoted, implemented and criticised freely. Two licences apply, to two different kinds of artefact.

Prose

The text of these standards, including the pages, tables, diagrams and explanatory material on this site, is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). You may share and adapt the text, including commercially, provided you give appropriate credit, link to the licence, and indicate whether you made changes.

Schemas and machine-readable artefacts

The canonical JSON Schemas, tool definitions, conformance-log format and discovery document are not yet published. When they are, they will be licensed under the Apache License 2.0, which is the licence implementers should plan against.

Names and marks

Neither licence grants any right in the "Agent Mediated Insurance" and "AMI" names, or in the Marrow name, logo or other marks. Attribution as required by CC BY 4.0 is not an endorsement, and nothing here permits a claim that an implementation is approved, certified or endorsed by Marrow or by the AMI working group. Conformance is a declaration an implementer makes about its own implementation, on the terms set out in each standard.
